Wuthering Waves 3.7 Preview: Hsin & Suoming

Version 3.7 is the next major update after 3.6. Kuro Games has officially drip-marketed two upcoming Resonators: Hsin (心月狐) and Suoming (锁瞑). This page collects what is officially confirmed today — everything else is marked [预估].

Officially Confirmed

• Version 3.7 follows 3.6 as the next major patch. 3.6's in-game end date is 30 Sep 2026 (confirmed in game).
• Two new Resonators were officially announced by name: Hsin (心月狐 / 心) and Suoming (锁暝, also written 锁瞑).
• Both received their full official reveal — banner art plus archive biography — on 26–27 Aug 2026, and both are 5-star.
• Kuro's Resonator Archive Preview (共鸣者档案前瞻) published each character's element and weapon type:

• Hsin's described power: Fractal Proliferation (万相分形) — she divides one form into many, each fractal staying linked to the source and able to merge back. She is also described as a master of mechanism-craft.
• Suoming's described power: Ten Seals Covenant (十重契) — a frequency-locking art that binds another's frequency into her seals, letting her borrow their ability at reduced power, capped at ten locked frequencies.
• 3 Sep 2026 — official gameplay footage: Development footage released by Kuro (beta build) shows both characters in combat. Confirmed in the footage: Hsin has two combat forms (normal form and white fox form); switching between Suoming and Hsin triggers a switch synergy attack (Suoming → Hsin: periodic lightning strikes; Hsin → Suoming: spear-like projectiles that keep attacking). The official classification of this mechanic (coordinated attack or not) is not yet confirmed. The footage is in-development — final values and animations may change.
• Per the official archive, Hsin is the Sentinel of Mengzhou — the first playable Sentinel in the game. The 3 Sep footage also shows Suoming fighting with an umbrella-shaped sword combined with chain strikes.
• 12 Sep 2026 — livestream date officially announced: the Version 3.7 Preview Special Broadcast airs on 19 Sep 2026, 19:00 (UTC+8), on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels.
• 19 Sep 2026 — 3.7 Special Broadcast aired (official): the version is titled Prism's Illusion, Heart's Illumination and officially launches on 30 Sep 2026 (UTC+8) (announced on the official channels during the broadcast).
• Banner lineup confirmed in the broadcast: Phase 1 — Hsin (debut) alongside reruns of Iuno and Chisa; Phase 2 — Suoming (debut) alongside reruns of Lynae and Lucilla. Signature weapons also shown: Blooming Jadehaven (5★ Rectifier, for Hsin) and Unspoken Rue (5★ Sword, for Suoming).
• New content announced: main story Chapter IV Act IV Simulacrum of the Heart (opens at launch); new exploration gameplay Inner Threshold in the new Mengzhou area; a new permanent event Blooms for the Shadow; a Tales Quest introducing the new character Xuanqing; plus Dreams in the Capsule, Past Dreams, Traced Seals, Cubie Wars, Echo Erase, Waking Moon Fishing and more.
• Free rewards announced: login events grant 15 Radiant Tides + 5 Lustrous Tides (20 pulls total); the Moonlit Path spending event returns with a 5★ Resonator selection (Carlotta / Shorekeeper / Phoebe) and new accessories; several new Echoes and 3 new Sonata sets were also revealed.
• New Echoes and Sonata sets named in the broadcast: five new Echoes — Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer (the new Phantom Echo), Bloomburst Puppet and Jade Nether Serpent — plus three new Sonata Effects: Heart of Sworn Vigil, Flash of Electric Reflection and Flower of Tinged Yearning. QoL also confirmed: Main Quest Story Replay via the Journey Log (launch covers Version 1.1–1.3 chapters) and eligible Echoes stack automatically in storage (up to 999 per stack).

• More official details (22 Sep 2026 update): new Resonator accessories confirmed — Hsin's Accessory: Where Dreams Shine Clear and Rover's Accessory: Not Even Close via Moonlit Path; Hsin's Accessory: Spring in Bloom and Suoming's Accessory: Glazed Roseate via the Store; plus the new WavesLine Look "Hsin and Moon". A follow-up login event Gifts of Singing Drizzle runs 22 Oct – 11 Nov 2026 for a total of 10 Radiant Tides.
• More official schedule details (23 Sep 2026 update): the official version schedule confirms Phase 2 starts on 22 Oct 2026 — the Suoming, Lynae and Lucilla banners open 22 Oct (Phase 1 runs 30 Sep – 22 Oct).
• 23 Sep 2026 — official maintenance notice: the update maintenance runs 30 Sep 2026, 04:00–11:00 (UTC+8); compensation is Astrite ×300 + Crystal Solvent ×2 (create a character and unlock Mail before maintenance starts; claimable until the next version update). Pre-download opens 28 Sep, 10:00 (UTC+8) — PC needs ~46 GB reserved (~26 GB package), mobile needs ~20 GB reserved (~13 GB package). You can keep playing while the pre-download runs.
• Official Convene names (26 Sep 2026 update): per the official maintenance notice, the Phase 1 Featured Resonator Convene is titled "As Full as Tonight, Forever" (Hsin) and the Phase 2 Convene "Nine Deaths, One Unbent Heart" (Suoming); the new area opens as the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou (in-game localized names prevail).
