Lucilla Build Guide 2026: Best Weapons, Echoes & Teams
This is the launch-week Lucilla build guide for Wuthering Waves 3.4. Lucilla — known as President Lucilla of Startorch Academy in story material — is a 5★ Glacio Rectifier debuting in the Phase 2 banner. Despite arriving in the Cyberpunk collab patch, she does not share Lucy and Rebecca's Hack-Shifting mechanic. Her kit is built around Glacio Chafe (her own status effect), a Focus Ring precision-aiming system, and a unique Reminiscence Liberation that replaces her entire moveset with an empowered version.
Lucilla is a skill-expression Main DPS: the Focus Ring mechanic rewards precise timing on her Basic Attack stage 3, and her dual-mode combat (Glacio Chafe vs the alternate mode) changes which abilities scale her damage. Her story is featured in the 3.4 quest "We Choose the Sky" exploring the academy's past.

Kit overview
Core mechanic — Focus Ring + Glacio Chafe + Reminiscence
Lucilla's Forte stacks three interlocking systems. Focus Ring is a precision-aim mechanic that triggers when she holds Normal Attack during Basic Attack stage 3 — if the cursor stays inside Perfect Focus, she gets a damage bonus and recovers extra Traces (her Forte resource); if outside, she casts an alternate "Commendable" variant. This rewards skill expression and is the main DPS lever for players who can land Perfect Focus consistently.
Glacio Chafe is her stacking debuff applied to enemies and serves as the trigger condition for her best weapon and likely her echo set's 5-piece bonus. Her Liberation, Reminiscence, replaces her entire moveset with an empowered version and grants +30% DMG Bonus to either Basic Attack or Echo Skill depending on which Resonance Mode she's in at the time of cast.

Lucilla's best-in-slot set is not yet confirmed. Two strong candidates:
- Shadow of Shattered Dreams (5-piece) — if her Hack-Shifting synergy is the primary scaling, she may share Lucy/Rebecca's set
- Frosty Resolve / similar Glacio set (5-piece) — if her Glacio damage scaling dominates, a Glacio-specific Sonata may be best

Team 2 — Glacio mono-element
Pair Lucilla with another Glacio character (Zhezhi, future Suisui from 3.5) for element resonance bonuses. Strong choice for sustained Glacio damage windows.
Team 3 — Lucy + Lucilla dual carry
Both 3.4 banner DPS together with Rebecca as the free sub-DPS. Hack-Shifting stacks shared across all three characters — expensive but the "complete cyberpunk team" if you pull both banners.
